Maxistar is a privately run company and we pride ourselves on decades of combined personal experience in the packaging industry. The benefit of our personal experience is used to maximize all facets of the operation of the company. Maxistar invests in state-of-the-art systems that augment the already high standard of production management, quality control and administration.

Maxistar is owned and managed by its founder directors therefore we have a vested interest in providing a superior product and service. Our directors have immense experience in the industry, all of us having worked for several major plastics packaging companies over the last 20 years, both locally and in Europe. High Quality production of superior yet practical and user-friendly plastic packaging is not only our business, but our passion.

All our key staff members joined our team with existing experience in the field of packaging and enjoy quality formal and informal on the job training on an ongoing basis with us.

Our Quality Control staff is experienced and qualified in this area and all our Quality Control staff have successfully completed quality management courses provided by the Plastics Federation of SA. The Maxistar quality control system is based on ISO and TQM standards featuring detailed and regular product assessment, meticulous record keeping as well as reliable testing and full traceability.

In addition to specific job related training i.e. quality control, raw materials, warehousing, machine setting etc staff receive regular comprehensive training in first-aid and fire-fighting techniques.

We believe that our team consists of the most qualified and highly trained staff in production and administration. Because of Maxistar’s work ethic, our team is motivated to continually provide superior service to our ever expanding client base.
